Mainland residents who intend to travel to Hong Kong and Macao for reasons such as visiting relatives, working or studying, as well as seeking medical treatment, litigation, disposing of property, etc., may submit an application for family visit, stay and other three types of endorsements corresponding to the subject matter of the application to the exit and entry administration authority of any public security organ nationwide, and the application procedures are the same as those of their place of residence.

Adjust the validity period of the stay endorsement for Mainland students studying in Macao.

The validity period of the stay endorsement issued by the exit-entry administration authority of the public security organ to Mainland students studying in higher education institutions in Macao has been adjusted from a maximum of one year to be consistent with the duration of their studies in Macao.

Fully restore expedited customs clearance at ports.

Foreigners holding foreign passports and permanent residence permits for foreigners, foreign electronic passports and residence permits for foreigners for more than 6 months; Chinese cabin crew members working on scheduled international flights and foreign cabin crew members who can enter the country without a visa or have completed a cabin crew or employment visa or residence permit for more than one year (inclusive) can pass through the border inspection fast track.
